About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity for multiple Forklift Operators to join our team in Coquitlam, BC on a permanent full-time basis. Work hours are 7:00am-3:30pm Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
As our new Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and scanning orders
- Figuring out how to effectively and efficiently load trucks
- Familiarize yourself with different types of material to determine proper stacking order
- Loading trucks while ensuring loads are adequately balanced
- Performing regular forklift inspections
- Filling out safety documents and other related paperwork
- Paying attention to surroundings and ensuring safety procedures are adhered to
- Completing other related tasks as assigned

About You
In order to qualify for this role, you will need a minimum of 1 year of previous forklift operating experience, as well as a valid forklift operator certification.
As our ideal candidate, you possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and are able to prioritize and manage time effectively. You have well-developed organizational skills, a keen sense of spatial awareness, and are able to safely control and operate heavy equipment. Moreover, you are detail-oriented, patient, and have strong interpersonal skills. Above all, you bring a high level of professionalism to the role, are eager to learn, and value safety.
